On May 22, Song Joong Ki’s agency, Blossom Entertainment, stated, “Song Joong Ki had a special fan meeting with 6,500 fans in Wuhan, the fourth stop in China for his ‘2016 Asia Tour Fan Meeting,’” and, “He was able to casually speak short phrases in Chinese, even surprised his fans by using the Wuhan dialect.”

During a Q&A session with his fans, the actor was asked, “What would you have become if you did not become a an actor?” Song Joong Ki wittily responded, “If I did not become an actor, I would have become Lee Kwang Soo’s manager,” yet again displaying his loyalty to their friendship. He also gave his opinion on giving to those in need. “Giving is something that I feel I will have to continuously do in the future.”

Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki made an appearance on Chinese variety program, “Happy Camp,” on May 21. Actor Song Joong Ki talked proudly about his close friendship with Lee Kwang Soo during his fan meeting in Beijing.
The event was held on May 14 at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium with around 5,000 fans in attendance, proving just how popular the actor has become after his recent starring role in the hit drama “Descendants of the Sun.” During the two-hour event, he greeted his fans in Chinese, played games, sang with Park Bo Gum, and read a letter of thanks.
Song Joong Ki told his fans, “I have Baidu and Weibo, but I don’t use them because I don’t know how, so Lee Kwang Soo is updating people about my whereabouts instead. If there’s anything you want to know about me, please contact Lee Kwang Soo.”
At one point in the fan meeting, Song Joong Ki played a game called “Yes or No.”
The actor was asked if he looks at himself in the mirror and makes cool poses after showering. He answered, “No, because I’m shy.”
He then received the question, “Do you like girls with short hair more than girls with long hair?” He affirms this and says, “That’s right. I think girls with short hair look neater,” revealing his personal taste.
When he was asked, “What if the girl with short hair is ugly?” he made the audience laugh by joking, “As long as she’s prettier than Lee Kwang Soo, it’s fine.”
The next question was if he likes Lee Kwang Soo more than girl groups, and the actor answered without a moment’s hesitation, “No, I like girl groups more.”
Finally, Song Joong Ki flaunted his close friendship with Lee Kwang Soo, who he named as one of his necessities for his travels. He stated, “I need Lee Kwang Soo to tag along. Someone has to spend money for me.”
He continued, “Just kidding. He’s a really close friend of mine, so if we find the time, we should go on a trip together.”
Lee Kwang Soo and Song Joong Ki previously went on a trip to Thailand with actor Jo In Sung last June.

Song Joong Ki is taking time out of his busy overseas schedule to make a cameo in Lee Kwang Soo’s new web drama “The Sound of Your Heart,” showing his steadfast loyalty to his close friend.
On May 17, a source from Song Joong Ki’s management agency told Daily Sports, “Song Joong Ki is participating today in the shooting for KBS 2TV web drama ‘The Sound of Your Heart.’”
Song Joong Ki and Lee Kwang Soo became friends through their time as “Running Man” cast members and have remained close friends for over seven years. Lee Kwang Soo previously showed his support for Song Joong Ki by making a cameo in the first episode of “Descendants of the Sun.”
“The Sound of Your Heart” is based on the popular webtoon of the same name. Lee Kwang Soo will be starring opposite actress Jung So Min.
