On August 29, Park Yoochun’s first accuser was officially sent to court.

The first accuser (hereafter referred to as “A”) was previously arrested for attempted threat and false accusation. A’s boyfriend as well as her cousin, who were both involved in the case, have been prosecuted without indictment.

The case arose when A sued Park Yoochun for sexual assault in the bathroom of an adult entertainment establishment. Afterwards, she dropped the charges, saying “It was not compulsory.”

However, A, her boyfriend, and A’s cousin later met with C-JeS Entertainment representative Park Chang Joo, and asked for a settlement amount of 500 million won (approximately $440,000). Park Yoochun was also previously booked without detention on the suspicion of fraud and soliciting prostitution.

All the other women excluding A were acquitted of charges, and Park Yoochun has not countersued the women for false accusation.

On the August 27 episode of KBS 2TV’s “Entertainment Weekly,” “Uncontrollably Fond” star Kim Woo Bin sits down for an interview.

During the interview, Kim Woo Bin is asked about how he maintains his figure, and he replies, “Even now I’m on the skinny side, but in the past I was even skinner. I don’t know if my metabolism has changed but now if I eat, I gain weight. I believe in exercising a lot while eating everything you want to eat.”

When asked to chose between his abs and his shoulders, Kim Woo Bin says “shoulders” without hesitation. “Even when I go to the gym to exercise, people only look at my shoulders. It’s burdensome so I’m working out at home right now,” he reveals.

Following the end of SBS’s “Doctors,” Park Shin Hye has revealed seven behind-the-scenes photos and a message about her experience with the drama through her agency S.A.L.T Entertainment.

According to Good Data Corporation’s research team, the most talked about drama online during the week of August 15 to 21 was “W,” which stars Han Hyo Joo and Lee Jong Suk. The show is in first place with a score of 17.59 percent, with SBS’s “Doctors” taking second place with 10.18 percent after being in first during the previous week.

JTBC’s “Age of Youth” comes in third overall, and is the highest ranking Thursday-Friday drama for the third week in a row. In comparison, tvN’s “Good Wife,” which airs at the same time, came in at 5.42 percent.

Currently gaining attention through SBS’s “Doctors,” Kim Rae Won candidly responds to questions about work and love.

In an interview published by magazine Woman Sense, the actor opened up about portraying a neurosurgeon in “Doctors,” his first bright, happy role since “Attic Cat” and “My Little Bride.”

Coming from his previous legal thriller drama “Punch,” the actor shares, “I was a little excited and worried that I might seem inconsistent.” He adds with a laugh, “But then people watched me and said I was cute.”

When asked about his chemistry with his co-star Park Shin Hye, who is nine years younger than him, he says, “I was honestly burdened by the cheesy dialogue. But as we acted on set, I realized the dialogue was good and the words rolled right off my tongue. It’s always fun with Shin Hye.”

He continues, “Her high kick left a bruise on my left thigh and butt. We were early into filming then and it helped me relax and be less tense. I don’t think I was motivated enough before that.” The actor remarks, “I should film an action movie with her next time.”

Kim Rae Won also speaks candidly about his last dating experience.

He comments, “I had a friend I dated every now and then, but in the midst of that I started shooting the film ‘Gangnam Blues‘ (a 2015 film also starring Lee Min Ho), and so our relationship faded away.”

The actor explains, “At the time, I had a great desire to be completely immersed in my role. I wanted acting to be my top priority. When I get older, I’d like to focus on the people I love.”

Kim Rae Won is currently earning his title as the king of romantic-comedy through his portrayal of Hong Ji Hong, a teacher and neurosurgery specialist who helps rebellious Yoo Hye Jung grow up to be a responsible doctor. The actor has been gaining recognition for his romantic gaze and expressions, as well as his flawless chemistry with Park Shin Hye.
